The ChiP-C can be considered an economical screening instrument for a reliable and valid assessment of strengths and disturbances of the child-parent relationship according to the childРІР‚в„ўs subjective appraisal.Р”Р„chenbach, T. Likewise, if as test is not reliable it is also not valid. In other words, if a test is not valid there is no point in discussing reliability because test validity is required before reliability can be considered in any meaningful way. If a test is not valid, then reliability is moot. Test validity is requisite to test reliability.
