You've read 'the good parts', and know that jQuery is not synonymous for javascript. We assume you are familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and ES5.1, but still know how to work magic in IE (the browser we loved to hate). We believe it's important for a developer to know both frontend and backend, and understand and work on all sides of the product development.

The ability to write maintainable, testable code is required, with the capacity to keep things DRY under pressure.
